Pan-Asia International School (PAIS) is an international school located in the Prawet District of Bangkok, Thailand. The school was founded in 2004 and has since grown to become one of the leading international schools in Thailand.

Campus
Pan-Asia International School is located in the heart of a rapidly growing area in Prawet District, Bangkok, Thailand, approximately 10 kilometers from Suvarnabhumi Airport and 20 kilometers from the city center. The school is situated on a side street that is about 200 meters away from the district’s main road, Chalerm Prakiat Ratchikan Thi 9.
The campus itself features a range of modern facilities to support students’ learning and development. These include an auditorium with a stage, two science laboratories, a music room, a swimming pool, a library and media center, an IT (Mac) lab, a covered basketball/volleyball court, a football pitch, and fun playgrounds. Academics

The American curriculum in the elementary school provides a solid foundation in language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, and physical education. The school also offers specialist courses in art, music, and Thai language and culture.
The IBMYP in the middle school is designed to develop students’ critical thinking, communication, and intercultural skills. Students take courses in language and literature, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, arts, physical and health education, and technology.
In the IBDP in the high school, students engage in a rigorous and comprehensive program of study that prepares them for success in university and beyond. The program is structured around six subject groups: language and literature, language acquisition, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, and the arts. Management
Pan-Asia International School is owned by the not-for-profit Thai charitable organization Social Welfare Society Thailand (SWS). SWS promotes education through a number of projects across Thailand.
In 2010, shortly after the last Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) visit, a 23-year management contract was awarded to Marmara Company, an educational management organization that manages three local schools. Under the management of Marmara Company, PAIS underwent significant improvements and expansion.
In 2017, SWS and Marmara Company mutually decided to terminate the managing contract and hand over the school to SWS. Since then, PAIS has been managed by SWS.
The school’s leadership team includes a Head of School, who oversees the day-to-day operations of the school, and a Board of Directors, who provide strategic guidance and oversight. The school also has a Parent Teacher Association (PTA) that works in partnership with the school’s administration to support students and promote a strong school community.
Admission
Pan-Asia International School has a selective admission process and considers students of all nationalities who meet the school’s academic and language proficiency requirements.
The school accepts applications for students from Pre-K (age 3) through Grade 12. The application process includes submitting an online application form, academic transcripts, standardized test scores (if applicable), teacher recommendations, and a personal statement.
For students whose native language is not English, PAIS requires proof of English proficiency, which can be demonstrated through the submission of standardized test scores or by taking the school’s English proficiency test.
After reviewing the application materials, the school may invite the student and their parents for an interview, either in person or via video conferencing.

Pan-Asia International School students have consistently achieved high scores on standardized tests, including the International Schools’ Assessment (ISA), which measures student performance in English, Mathematics, and Science. In the 2019-2020 academic year, PAIS students scored significantly above the international average on the ISA in all subjects tested.
